San Jose has been actively trying to shop forwards Jonathan Cheechoo and Patrick Marleau, according to reports.
The Ottawa Sun has reported that the Sharks have offered Cheechoo and defenseman Christian Erhoff to Ottawa for winger Dany Heatley, but the Senators have rejected the deal.

TSN reported early Wednesday morning that Dany Heatley refused to waive his no-trade clause in order to facilitate a trade to the Oilers.
Multiple outlets reported Tuesday night that the Senators had agreed to send Heatley to Edmonton for Andrew Cogliano, Dustin Penner and Ladislav Smid.
